Subscribe to RSS feeds, and news finds its way to one place on your PC instead of you having to revisit all your news sources.
How to subscribe
You’ll need software called an RSS reader (also known as a feed reader or aggregator). Readers you can install on your PC include Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook and Apple Mail. Web-based versions include Bloglines, Google Reader and Feedzilla.
Once you have a reader, there are a few ways to subscribe, including:
* Right-click the RSS feed, copy and paste the URL into your reader
* Drag the URL of the RSS feed into your reader
Like your email program, you can set your reader to automatically check for news, or update manually when you’re ready.
