PHP Web Developer - March '10
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience ideally with an agency (web agency or creative agency). Candidates must be a, full life-cycle, LAMP developer with a minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial setting in a digital agency environment.
You will be required to have knowledge of:
- PHP 4/5
- OOP
- MYSQL 3/4/5
- XHTML 1.1
- HTML 4/5
- Apache 1.3/2.0 Web Server
- Object Oriented analysis and design
- SQL and MySQL database design
- XML
- JSON
- CSS
Proficency working in:
- Ubuntu Operating System
- Version control systems (ideally Subversion)
- PHP Application Frameworks
- Javascript/ECMAscript
Desirable to have:
- UML
- jQuery & jQuery UI
- Zend Framework
- REST/SOAP/cURL
- Templating Engines in a Linux envirionment
- Basic image manipulation
Additional scripting languages an advantage (perl/C++/python/etc)

Digital Project Manager - March '10
Leading marketing and design agency in the North West are in search of a Digital Project Manager.
As a result of expansion we are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager. You will require the following:
- A strong understanding of web/digital including the ability to liaise and interpret technical language, including an understanding of online marketing activities including search engine optimisation.
- Experience in writing technical specifications and creative briefs.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Digital Project Manager on large and small projects.
- The ability to multi-task and be highly organised.
- Strong commercial experience with the ability to manage client meetings, prepare quotations and cost & manage projects.
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with clients, the design team, web team and development team.
- Excellent project management skills ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
