Role Senior Developer
We are looking for a Senior Developer to work on some of our long term projects and provide daily guidance and support to our team of developers. Candidates should have an excellent knowledge of PHP v4+, MySQL v4+, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS.
The Role will predominately be based on high profile long term projects, and as such the requirement to produce optimised,
stable and flexible code is a must. The role and will demand a large amount
of time working directly with databases, rapidly producing customised reports,
and running other queries directly from the database. We also require that
candidates have exceptional PHP development skills and experience, with
the ability to quickly adapt to changing client requirements, while also
being able to plan and manage their workload accordingly. Candidates with
Linux administration skills would be preferred, as would candidates with
Dreamweaver experience, though these are not essential.
Possessing excellent Client facing skills, the Senior Developer may be
required to attend client meetings, technical meetings, conference calls,
and training sessions, and as such it is expected that you have a confident
and comfortable manner and are able to articulate your thoughts and opinions
clearly in a non-technical way.
You will be expected to work closely with Account Handlers and the
Technical Manager, in order to produce tight specifications which you
will then adhere to.
Wage dependent on experience.
