lee whittingham - creative director
We have a fantastic creative team, fusing together different strengths
to create inspiring, distinctive branding and design concepts. I have
always had a passion for branding in particular and love nothing more
than getting under the skin of a clients organisation and creating and
building a brand that outwardly communicates all its values and aims
effectively.
I’m a strong believer in ‘a brand is one of a company's most critical assets’ and getting that right is so important to us. Our reputation has grown almost entirely through repeat business, word of mouth and the strength of our portfolio and nearly all of our clients are long term engagements.
Working with our creative team I’m lucky enough to work every day
on something I love to do.

neil ramsbottom - senior creative
I like to start each and every day with a really crisp, close shave
as I feel it really sets me up for the many and varied challenges that
lie ahead during any given day here at Wilson Cooke. Most people will
be unaware of this routine as my stubble grows at a quite alarming rate!
Being a 'leftie' I enjoy the opportunities we get to be creative and
constantly aim to make each piece better than the last one.
Neil can usually be found munching on pistachio
nuts of an evening.
Favourite things: I love the work and attitude
to design and creativity of Mark Farrow, Stefan Sagmeister, Tyler Brûlé,
Jamie Hewlett, James Jarvis and Frank Miller..

lance corrigan - creative
I first gained a passion for design at the tender age of one, creating
crayon-based compositions on my parent's living room walls. After discovering
other mediums on which to represent my work and gaining vast amounts
of experience within the industry, I am now able to take my seat amongst
the other great creatives at
Wilson Cooke.
Lance is the newest member of the
team and has traded his crayons for a nice new Mac Pro.
Favourite things: I enjoy spending time with
my family, walking the dog, listening to music and playing either the guitar
or piano..

steve haddican - designer/artworker
I do my bit for the planet: recycling, reducing waste, saving water/electricity
etc, so don't blame all this recent flooding on me! I like to chill
out by cooking a nice meal, whilst listening to music and supping a
glass of red wine.
A good walk by the sea, with a pint of beer at the end . . . priceless.
Steve or "Tadge" has he
is known in the studio is famous for his world class brews.
Favourite things: Happiness, Food, The
Wife (she’s bound to have a look at this)

steve stoddart - designer/artworker
My Favourite things, spending time with the family, reading, cycling, basketball,
music (Zeppelin - that kind of thing, just to annoy the kids!), most
sports - except horseracing and boxing. Keeping a clean carbon (fibre)
footprint by cycling to work, all chocolate, coffee.
Steve or "nobby" has been
with wilson.cooke since 1998 and can usually be found knocked
off his racing bicycle lying in a bed of nettles at the weekend.
Favourite things: Anne, my mum and dad, deep
sea divers, Eddie Merckx, Sean Kelly, Steve Irwin

roger antonie - designer/artworker
Playing detective - researching dead Antonies (and anyone with the misfortune
to be related), back to 1750 so far and not an Italian ice cream seller
in sight. Motorcycling - but waiting for an almost completed 1959 Norton
500 Dominator to finish restoring itself, and for a Gilera scooter to
repair itself.
Roger is part of the furniture and
has been involved with wilson.cooke from it's inception in the
early 1990
Favourite things: My 1959 Norton 500 Dominator

john millington - operations director
With the ever constant advancement of technologies the web is an amazingly
fast moving environment to work within, to see how much things have
changed you only have to look back at the net usage of a few years
ago to see just how important the internet is to everyone. Striving to
find emerging markets for our clients within the industry is a constant
challenge.
Making
sure we stay ahead of the game is a top priority, thankfully
we have a wealth of different skills at our disposal within each
of our departments, this ensures that we deliver
time after time no matter how involved or complex the project, as most
of our work comes via referrals this has to say something about the
quality of work we produce.

chris gibson - web designer
After qualifying in graphic design I worked for several years in design
and illustration before being seduced by the dark side - the Internet.
I now enjoy working on websites and Flash animations.
Chris is our resident Liverpudlian
of five years, his specialist tallents are for advanced CSS
coding and HTML.
Favourite things: my aunty cilla and uncle
tarby.

antony wilcock - web/newmedia designer
A prerequisite to having a degree in fine art is an understanding that
computers are the work of the devil - like artificial sweeteners, microwave
ovens and reality TV shows. However it's impossible to design using felt-tip
pens forever...
Thankfully I overcame this fear, and my role at wilson cooke sees me
involved in projects across all types of media - using cutting edge
technologies. I am constantly learning new things and every day brings
fresh challenges.
My least favourite phrase is "Can you jazz it up a bit?"
Our own "MiniVin" has been
with us for almost six years and usually has a video camera attached
to his left eye.
Favourite things: I particularly like things
which shouldn't work but do, unrecognised heroes and oxymorons.

tony gardom - web designer
My hobbies are listening to music (preferably on massive headphones), designing,
surrealism and laughing.
My biggest dislikes are queue jumpers, tailgaters and
moustaches.
Tony has been with us four years and
is famous within the office for his "one liners".
Favourite things: Table thumping, alcohol &
cheese, for which there should be a festival.

garry byrne - technical manager
I like strong tea, black coffee and dark rooms. I do own an iron, but I'm
not sure how to use it. I recently stopped smoking, and whilst I've not
noticed myself becoming snappy and irritable because of it, I feel I
must enquire as to what the hell you're looking at?
Garry is our resident linux and apple
obsessive his love of all things macintosh knows no bounds.
Favourite things: I have a penchant for clever
industrial design and pizza, and a particular dislike of milky beverages
(apart from milk, which is rather nice when chilled).

alex ellis - developer
I have been programming for many years now and most of the time I can be
found in my chair with a cup of coffee in one hand and a mouse in the
other. I find that the challenges that programming presents to me keeps
my brain strong, supple and alert (or that could just be the large amounts
of Caffeine I consume!!)
DISLIKES: Numpties, fame hunters and people who don’t
test things thoroughly in internet explorer.
Alex's overriding compulsion to start
a wilson.cooke five a side team is quite scary.
Favourite things: Keeping the average age of
wilson.cooke down to a minimum, surfing, football, and watching large amounts
of live sport.

kevin williams - developer
I got a little taste of programming at university; it was a pretty bad taste let me tell you! I decided to give it another crack in my own time and started to enjoy it more until eventually it brought me here.
The team here is great, very welcoming, and massively talented.
I’m really in to my football and my main aim at the company is to finish top
in the fantasy league (this doesn’t
look good though!).
Kevin's a great asset to the dev
team, even though he supports Bolton Wanderers.
Favourite things: My Bolton Wanderers cup with
my name on it. Blame my mum, she bought it me for Christmas.

tim green - developer
Charming, witty and handsome, I get invited to all the top parties and
love nothing more than to boogie the night away. I love driving fast
cars, holidaying in exotic locations and eating at all the best restaurants....
Well a guy can dream can't he?
Big Tim is another office giant
and works on our bigger long term projects.
Favourite things: Spending time with my family,
Thai & Mexican Food, Lemon Scented Hand
Wipes

nicole whittingham - marketing director
With an exceptional and dedicated team we mix fabulous talent with hard
work to do our very best for our clients and help them stand out in
crowded places. We love marketing, our aim is to guide our clients applying
strategy and common sense so that everything we do together is an achievement.
The challenges of effective branding, marketing communication and effective execution, along with the exciting challenges of digital marketing is something i love and that we are really good at!
I sometimes think we don’t shout out enough about how good we
are, but our commitment and passion to shouting out for our clients,
is really what we are about and being behind the scenes to help our
clients succeed in everything they do. It’s our clients and the
team we create together that makes everyday fantastic at Wilson & Cooke.

steve cooke - account manager
I’ve worked in marketing pretty much all of my career, both on the
client side and agency side.
After setting up Wilson & Cooke with Dave in 1990 it has been a pleasure to hand over the reins, after 15 years or so, to the new team allowing me to concentrate on doing what I enjoy most and that’s account handling.
Favourite things: I like to fly when the weather permits. I also enjoy
travelling, walking, photography, making wine, drinking wine and generally
chilling out.
Steve is our resident pilot,
he often delivers printed material by plane.

dave wilson - account manager
/ copywriter
I am the product of an old fashioned grammar school which valued good English
above both cleanliness and godliness. I fnd it diffclt 2 abbrvte whn txtng
or emlng, I try to not ever split infinitives and I hate people using a
preposition to end a sentence with.

paula wilson - account manager
I’m a real home body and love being at home with my two lovely children,
who keep me more than busy, in fact just call me Super Mum! I can always
be found with a vacuum in one hand and vodka in the other. I adore shopping
of any kind, socialising with friends and Ebay, I dislike Red Wine & Lager
and people without children parking in Parent/Toddler Parking spaces, oh
and excessive body hair.
One of the quietest members of our
team a very introverted character... not!
Favourite things: Coffee, Cappucino, Diet Coke
and Chocolate and Wine, so you can tell I am a real health freak.

tony fish - consultant
Tony has over 10 Years experience of providing e-Business consultancy advice
and support to local businesses across the Northwest. He has delivered

lucy wright - account executive
I enjoy wine - by the glass or by the bottle, I’m not picky! Nights
out with friends, 80’s films, music, swimming, shopping – the
usual. I’m obsessed with pub quizzes and feel they’ve greatly
improved my general knowledge over the past 5 years!! I hate loud eaters,
mushrooms and beige. Despite what you might hear I do wear shoes.
Lucy has a great ability to break
computers without touching them and walk barefoot around the
office.
Favourite things: My three favourite things
are V&T’s, Blondie and yellow midget gems.
