
Centre for Design (C4D) brand launched
Following a consultation period with Cranfield University and the LCC University of the Arts London, the new brand identity for the centre, designed by Wilson Cooke, has been launched.
"Its been great to work with the team at Cranfield and LCC to develop this new brand. Its been an experience creating something for a bunch of designers! A first for us but it really focuses the mind." commented Lee Whittingham, Creative Director at Wilson Cooke.
Wilson Cooke have developed the brand identity with guidelines and a brand design to work across all literature. The website will be launching soon (holding page in place for now), watch this space.
C4D is the UK’s second Cox Centre of Excellence, in response to the Cox Review recommendation to embed creativity and design capability in UK businesses in order to improve competitiveness and performance.
The Centre and its activities explore the synergies that occur at the boundaries of the creative industries, engineering, technology and management disciplines through research, postgraduate education and industry services. C4D has a strong emphasis on connecting new and existing user communities to emergent business and technology models.
