We see him as the real brains behind our web based projects. He’s like a walking Wikipedia of knowledge on all things technical, and always has the answer to a query (and can write them, too!) He is, essentially, the essence of both front end and back end development, being smart enough to answer complex questions with simple solutions, yet technical enough to put these solutions into place. There is, although, the odd time where the solution is too simple; the most overused phrase is most definitely “turn it off, and turn it back on again”.
Besides from being one smart "cook"ie, he enjoys his quiet time. Constantly with his headphones on, listening to Foo Fighters, when not spending time at the computer trawling through YouTube’s latest content, he loves to play football, squash or work out at the gym. It is necessary for developers to stray away from the computer to undergo normal, day-to-day activities such as posing around town in his BMW Z4 or RS Ford, blogging about Bolton or other normal scenarios such as "inventing Tuesdays". His talent is clear throughout the innovative and technical complexity of the web projects we develop here at Wilson Cooke.
Cooke isn’t any one of these things, he’s all of them. He isn’t any specific developer; he is all developers and Web designers. He is the personification of all our technical types, in one nice, neat (and pretty good looking) package. Cooke will be within the blog representing all our developers and you'll naturally see him in the hugs meeting room, by his computer or in the kitchen "cook"ing up a storm.
